Arizona Wedding

I was in Arizona this weekend for one of my best girlfriends wedding. The wedding was beautiful and touching with thoughtful vow's and a amazing atmosphere. It's always so great to see my friends here and I never have enough time to see and talk with everyone. I love New York and living in the city but coming home to Arizona always makes me a little nostalgic because living here fits too. Maybe one day I'll be able to spend more time between the two!

Anyways, I wanted to share some pic's from the weekend!

Rag and Bone

Feeling a little rocker today with this rag and bone dress! Decided to pair it with my All Saints booties, Fogal stockings, Banana Republic cuffs, vintage ring, and Leather jacket. I love the sequin 'scales' on the shoulder and waist band. Rag and bone gets all the wearable details wonder it's designed by two men. ;)

Red Scarf

Gorgeous weather in NYC this weekend! I pulled out this red scarf from Burberry to pair with my Maje leather shorts, Current Elliot button down, All Saints Booties, Dita sunglasses, and leather jacket that I bought in Rome forever ago. Happy Monday!

Denim on Denim

Headed out to The Dutch with a girlfriend I decided to do a little denim on denim...WHO doesn't love denim on denim. Well now, this can actually be a risky move (denim on denim). But, I decided to give it a whirl and it was actually really cute. I've always been a fan of denim vests ( I was a wanna-be skater in high school) and I've loved these blue zipper jeans from J Brand ever since I saw Rhianna wearing them last spring. Yessss....the houlihan jean from J Brand.

Jeans by J Brand, denim vest J. Crew (online only), white Club Monaco shirt, Chloe ballet flats, Mark Jacob's mens watch, and scarf by Club Monaco.

Enter, Burgundy Turban

I'm calling this my burgundy's not exactly a true turban, but it brings to mind the fabulous evening turbans of the early 20th century. Mine is more of a headband-turban hybrid but still fun none-the-less. :)

I decided to give it a whirl when going out with a girlfriend for dinner the other night. I mean is the epitome of man repeller fashion so I was waiting for a ladies night to bust it out. I picked up the so-called turban at TopShop and paired it with J Brand bell-bottoms (hippy+turban=why not?), H&M Conscious Collection blouse, Jean Shop belt, and Chloe bag. Loving that my Chloe bag (that I've had for YEARS) is finally getting that great worn-in look. I'm convinced handbag's get better with age.

Royal Blue Night

Heading out to a fancy up-town dinner at Masa I went for something a little dressier than I would normally pick. It was a special date night and I wanted to sparkle a bit. This royal blue dress by Catherine Malandrino is GORGEOUS!! The draping is perfect in all the right places and the blue color is heavenly. I paired it with a slick low pony (it's ALL about the dress people), silver sparkly Jimmy Choo heels, crystal knot ring, and sapphire necklace (a special gift that was given to me a long time ago). I was all grown up and feeling elegant. Perfect for the almost 3 hour....gazillion course dinner that followed. Masa even gave us a bag of my favorite toasted buckwheat tea to take home...NYC deliciousness. Had to up-zip a little in the car on the way home! ;)

Heat Wave

Wow...NYC you never cease to amaze me. What an amazingly gorgeous weekend. It was 80 degree's yesterday in NYC and I think the entire city was out walking around to enjoy the last few days of sun (before we all turn into Mole people for the winter).

With weather this good I had to bust out a pair of shorts! I had already done the closet turnover and packed my summer clothes away. To celebrate the heat wave I wore these Rag and Bone shorts, Banana Republic denim button-up, Rag and Bone army vest, and All Saints booties. Nicely done NYC.

Grey + White

Happy Friday Everyone!! Getting into the Fall spirit I'm busting out sweaters...and having fun with them. :)

Headed out to dinner at Nobu I threw on a 3.1 Philip Lim chunky sweater, white J Brand jeans, Theory black skinny belt, Christian Louboutin patent leather heels, and another one of my vintagey $5 scores.
