Bootie Lovin

Like Blog Lovin or McLovin...only for boots. :)

So the story on these booties is that I found a pair at Barney's that I fell in LOVE with...they were also crazy expensive so I told myself it wasn't meant to be. Then I found a pair at Rag and Bone that looked similar but didn't quite fit me just right. Then I saw these ones at All Saints in Soho and voila, match made in heaven. They are super comfy (pre-requisite for boots and sandals) and perfect to wear with literally everything. SO excited. You'll be seeing these a LOT.

Pizza at Otto...Mmm.

For their first test drive I wore them with a Vince Leather Dress, Club Monaco Scarf, YSL Bag, and Dita Sunglasses.

Happy Friday! XO-Tiff

Raw Food Cleanse

Getting ready for one of my bestie's weddings this weekend in Aspen I'm raw-ing it up for a little pre-wedding GLOW!! Of course this needed some help from my friends at Organic Avenue...

With a little cranky-ness, boatloads of raw fruits and veggies, and a few workouts (yoga and soul cycle) I'll be refreshed and ready to jet off to one of my favorite places in the world. I can't wait to relax and laugh with good friends. So excited!!

Organic Avenue is awesome if you're a NYC'er. The Chai Love Smoothie (Alkaline Water, Cashew, Hemp Seeds, Dates, Himalayan Salt, Vanilla, Irish Moss, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Allspice) is to-die-for delicious, it's a must try. Also really good is the Raw Lasagna (I've tried versions from Juice Press/One Lucky Duck and this one is tops). I also force myself to take an E3 Live Elixir in the tastes like grass only herb-ier. It's WAY better than the Chlorophyll elixir which I about choked on the first time I shot it back...bad, very very bad tasting. Anyways, my "cleanses" always consists of a ton of food...just organic raw food that is totally healthy and packed full of vitamins. My personal rule is that you cannot feel hungry on a cleanse. Hungry + Cleanse = Binge ;)

Nope, this is not food for the's what I'll eat tomorrow!

Go get a smoothie. XO-Tiff

Chocolate Cherry Missoni Morning

About to head out this morning I grabbed this short sleeve Missoni cardigan, J Brand bell bottoms, grey Barney's silk tank, Comme des Garcons belt, and Celine wedges. Before heading out I whipped up one of my favorite breakfasts...the Chocolate Cherry shake. It's deeeelicious and super healthy packed full of vitamins and antioxidants. Cherry is also known for it's anti inflammatory qualities-perfect post soul cycle class! Happy Morning!

Nail Polish - Chanel Peridot

Wait! I need to put my smoothie down!!

Cherry Chocolate Smoothie Recipe:
1 Banana (ripe one)
1/2 Cup frozen organic, pitted, no-sugar added, dark cherries
1 Cup Coconut Water
1.5 scoops Vega Chocolate Smoothie powder (vegan plant protein, greens, and vitamins)
2 tbsp Maca powder
Agave Nectar to your desired sweetness (I use about 1 tbsp)

Directions...throw all in your vita-mixer and blend! Add more or less coconut water to get desired thickness.

It's a De Kooning kind of day.

MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) in NYC recently opened it's most expansive (nearly 200 works) and expensive ($3 Billion) retrospective to date devoted to the career of Willem de Kooning, one of the most prolific artists of the 20th century. We went last week before it opened to the public and stood in awe of the incredible pieces. The exhibit was well curated showing the different periods of De Koonings career and how his work changed throughout his life. It was incredible to see how this artist grew and changed over the course of career spanning nearly 70 years. I highly recommend spending an afternoon at the museum to see the exhibit while it's here.

Walking around up town admiring the local "art" of the cityscape

In my museum mode wearing a Rag and Bone white button down, 3.1 Philip Lim sweater, army J Brand leggings, Chloe flats, and Chanel bag.

Burgndy Hat

As promised...showing some Burgundy Hat love. It's officially Fall in NYC and getting chilly at night. I love the cooler weather and busting out jackets, layers, and boots. Headed to dinner at Jewel Bako in the East Village the other night I wore this Burgundy hat from Otte, black tee from Alexander Wang, J Brand bell bottom jeans, Helmut Lang leather jacket, gold leather feather earrings from Eva boutique NYC, and Black Chanel bag.

Hail to the Queen...

McQueen that is! Saturday night date night to The Modern for dinner was the perfect excuse to throw on this Alexander McQueen knit dress that I got a couple of weeks ago. I am in LOVE with the busy print, flattering lines, and versatility. I could wear this with biker boots and a leather jacket for a more tough casual look and with tights, thigh-high boots, and long coat this winter. You'll be seeing this again!

Tonight I've paired it with Alaia booties, Dior Joaillerie ring, and Chanel clutch...gotta keep it simple with a pattern this busy!

6 Current Favorites...

It's time for an updated list of current favorites because I'm such a product, clothing, accessory freak that it changes frequently. I mean what have you done for me lately! ;) Luvvee these 6!

1) Otte Burgundy Hat - I died when I saw this. You'll be seeing a lot of it this fall. Perfect to spice up a boring outfit and did I mention it's Burgundy!!

2) Alba Botanical SPF 15 Body Lotion - FINALLY! Someone made a body lotion for everyday use with SPF. We all know that sun exposure is the #1 cause of skin damage. I've been looking for a body lotion that contained SPF for everyday wear for awhile. This one actually smells good and doesn't feel like you're wearing sunscreen.

3) Jurlique Lavender Hydrating Mist - Calming, soothing, moisturizing, you need anything else. I literally keep this in my desk at work and spritz on my face and decolletage whenever the heck I feel like it...usually a couple times a day (right over my make-up).

4) Whole Foods Natural Fiber Bath Brush - Reading a lot about ayurveda dry brushing and the benefits to your skin and body (read about it in the Yoga Journal here) so I thought I would give it a whirl. It actually feels really good (once you get past the oddness), takes 10 seconds before you hop in the shower, and makes your skin super soft!

5) RGB Rust colored nail polish - Another goodie from my swag bag on FNO that I am super excited about. The color rust is everywhere and goes with everything...perfect fall shade.

6) Eco Jewelry - Loving the colorful Native American and African jewelry that is popping up everywhere. This cuff from Otte is perfect for a pop of color, made from sustainable materials, and all the proceeds go to support women in Africa. Now THAT'S sustainable.

Navy, White, Rust

Fashion's Night Out was really fun this year...being in NYC this time of year is just exciting in general. Fashion Week is in full swing and the city is buzzing everywhere. Everyone is dressed to their's awesome! I was out looking at office space in Soho on Wednesday and it was models, models, models everywhere. This would also be the time of year I swear off sweets and promise to Soul Cycle 3x a week. :) I poped into Otte, one of my favorite boutiques in Tribeca, and was drawn to these rust colored Rag and Bone Jeans. Later while digging around (champagne and goody bag in tow) I found this plush navy sweater by M. Patmos. Cozy!

Channeling fall (even though it was only a slightly cool 65 degrees) I put my new pieces together with a white Madewell blouse, Marsell oxfords, and dark brown Hermes Lindy Bag. Loving this color combo!!

Pink Thakoon

For the bridal shower I helped host last weekend I picked this baby pink Thakoon play-suit and matching Miu Miu heels! It's shorts with a drapy, satin-y, low-cut top that is just low enough to make it interesting. I love how it also has a snap which you can un-snap it to make it a lower neckline and more sexy for night. Thanks are one talented man. Did I mention it's comfortable too...:)

Phoenix Love...

Wow...I'm a bad blogger. I had so much fun with friends this weekend in Arizona that I didn't post anything! I was in AZ for my BF's bachelorette weekend bonanza before she gets married. So. Much. Fun. We had a blast.

AZ was HOT! Headed out for dinner at Postino's Arcadia (ridiculous wine bar with to-die-for bruchetta) I wore my self-cut J Brand shorts, TopShop blouse, Celine wedges, and Fedora that my girlfriend picked up in LA.
